I am the owner and head instructor of the longest running martial arts school in the Temple, Belton, and surrounding community. McCarthy’s TKD has been an influential and positive community pillar since 1995 making it a landmark of Temple for over 25 years
Our members say that our school is more than “just a gym”. At McCarthy’s TKD, we strive to help individuals grow mentally and physically as they undergo their journeys to become healthier, happier, and more confident individuals.
With our carefully crafted approach in training our younger students, (ages 5 and up), many proud parents have credited us in aiding their children gain confidence, discipline, pride, maturity, and awareness.
In our highly-esteemed adult program, we take pride in demonstrating for and training our students in how to defend themselves, get into better shape, and how to properly alleviate stress all while in a safe and positive environment.
Learning martial arts is not just about learning how to fight, it’s about gaining the tools to become a more positive and disciplined version of yourself that is able handle any situation that might arise.
